Chrisman mug shot

Arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder

Three years ago, this Fall Richard Chrisman killed an unarmed man, Daniel Rodriguez, and his dog.   Protests erupted in front of the Phoenix Police Department every night until the 2nd degree murder charges were brought against Chrisman.  His police union held a ‘murder burger’ funding drive to help him with legal expenses.  Good thing, huh, cause its been the better part of three years since this killing occurred and the trial only started this week.  Oct. 5, 2010 was when this double killing was reported and who gets to be free on bail for almost three years without a trial?
