Phoenix Copwatch is a grassroots volunteer organization that works to end police brutality in the Phoenix, Arizona area. We believe that one of the best ways to prevent police abuse is by directly observing the cops in action.

    on saturday night i was arrested and detained after beating beat by phx police officers i filmed the entire arrest and now my camera is missing and impound has no record of it even being in my possesion even though i was given my cameras sd card back im am looking at getting an attorney that specialized in police misconduct and use of excessive force i was charged with failure to show id even though i do not have one and the police dept. has been contacted in regards to that i was also charged with resisting arrest and obstructing traffic none of these charges are accurate and i was falsley arrested and detained was refused medical care water and food for over 15 hours i am contacting you because i am an occupier a community activist and protestor i need your guys help to organize a march to have thge officer removed from the force his name is nathan main and his badge number is 9258 during the arrest i had my thumbs dislocated my wrist sprained my right ear kicked and my face stomped into the ground my airway compressed by an officers knee to the point where i was absolutely unable to breath i documented the arrest on a video camera and i believe the officer kept my video camera to avoid being indicted and/or prosecuted for my false arrest and detainment i have a court date coming up to fight the charges against me and im asking in any way shape or form please help
